The advisor comes across as a very good sales person. Our first appointment, he explained different mortgage plans clearly which was very promising and what services I can expect. However, working with him has not been a satisfactory experience. He was always busy and seemed he was getting more clients for his firm, instead of focussing on current clientele. You don’t get a feeling of transparency. The advisor needs to be pushed several times with regular follow-ups, because it was really hard to reach him on phone. He usually over promise and under-deliver, especially with regards to mortgage related deliverable & timelines. On certain occasions he lacked information on current interest rates and several discount deals on interest rates which the bank was offering. I did my own research on Internet where I shared those insights with him to get our deals. I am not satisfied with the life insurance setup, as there are more companies where premiums are lower than what I was offered.
