Mike was easygoing, explained to us every step (even translating Dutch concepts into English for us) and was available via WhatsApp and email whenever we had questions. The paperwork wasn't as much or as bad as I thought, although I believe doing it by ourselves it would have been a nightmare. I understand using a mortgage consultant costs money, and some people would rather do it alone and save the cost, however I have zero regret with our choice here. Mike was friendly, professional and helpful.
